Based on the teachings of B.K.S Iyengar and rooted in the eight limbs of yoga, it integrates the mind, body and spirit through practice. The practice remains focused on strength, endurance and body alignment through maintaining postures for physical and mental strength, flexibility and balance. Iyengar Hatha Yoga is meditation in action and uses the breath to further concentration and increase awareness.
