Goal:
My name is Chynna McGirt, and my dream is to play at the highest achievable level while being happy and healthy. I want to share my love and lightness for the game, navigating how to be a top competitor while also prioritizing your own mental and physical health. I want to be a shoulder to lean on for my teammates; I want to push and encourage those around me to be the best version of themselves and to help inspire the next generation of future athletes from all over the world.
Playing History:
Early in my career, I played for the Lil’ Vipers, landing media coverage in local newspapers across Vero Beach, FL. I traveled a lot outside of my hometown and played in competitive tournaments throughout Florida. As a freshman at Vero Beach High School, I played in my team’s state championship game. All four years, my team were district champions and regional champions in 2014, 2016, and 2017.
College:
In my freshman debut at Rollins College, I led my team in points and was top 3 in points every season from 2017-2021. I finished my college career totaling 3,840 minutes, scoring 17 goals, and having 9 assists. I have scored 6 game winning goals in my career and helped my team to a regular season conference win in 2019.
Semi-Professional (WPSL):
After finishing my 5th year at Rollins in December 2021; I then went on to play semi professionally in the WPSL for the Iowa Raptors in the summer of 2022. During my time with the raptors, I was used as the 6, defensive center midfielder; while this is not my dominant position I played a very successful role; I was a starter in 6 out of 8 games. I scored 3 goals and was voted for All Conference in the Midwest region in 2022.
Professional:
In January of 2023, I signed my first professional contract to play in the first league for Emek Hefer in the Israeli Premier First League. I played in 10 games as a winger and midfielder and had 5 goals. I then re signed in Israel for Maccabi Hadera; where I played and started in every game. I again fulfilled the role of winger/ midfielder, and I had 6 goals & 7 assists, I also won goal of the season for the 2023/2024 season and voted Most Valuable Player at my club.
